CSET: Hebrew
The World Languages subtests taken toward a Single Subject Teaching Credential differ from the subtests taken toward a Bilingual Authorization. For more information on certification requirements, see Tests Used Toward Certification.
For the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Hebrew, candidates must also pass the appropriate language assessment administered by a CTC-approved assessor agency. For more information, refer to the Verifying Subject Matter Competence by Examination (Single Subject) leaflet CL-674S , on the CTC's website.

- Hebrew Subtest I (test code 301)
CSET subtests used toward a Bilingual Authorization for Hebrew:
- Hebrew Subtest I (test code 301)
- World Languages Subtest IV (test code 250)
- Hebrew Subtest V (test code 266)
You may register to take any one subtest in a single test session.
Computer-based test (CBT) and online-proctored test:- Subtest IV: 50 multiple-choice questions
Computer-based test (CBT) only:- Subtest I: 6 constructed-response questions
- Subtest V: 5 constructed-response questions
Computer-Based Testing
Subtest I: 3 hours
Subtests IV and V: 1 hour and 15 minutes per subtest
15 additional minutes are provided to complete a nondisclosure agreement and tutorial.
Online Proctoring
Subtest IV: 1 hour and 15 minutes
15 additional minutes are provided to complete a nondisclosure agreement and tutorial.
Computer-Based Testing
You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for breaks is considered part of the available testing time.
Online Proctoring
No breaks allowed.
Online Proctoring
Test results are available within 5 weeks of testing.
Subtest IV: Review test results release dates.
Candidates taking an online-proctored test will not receive a receipt of completion when their test ends.
Computer-Based Testing
Subtest I (test code 301) includes one or more assignments that allow you to handwrite and scan responses.
